1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PlaceHire (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
The Platform is intended for students, colleges, companies, and recruiters participating in campus placement activities. You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
- Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent academic, identity, or job-related information.
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you.
- Do not use the Platform to send spam, harassing messages, or unlawful content.
- Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform's normal operation.
4. Placement Drives, Applications & Offers
PlaceHire facilitates connections between students, colleges, and companies but is not a party to any employment offer, contract, or agreement made between users. Colleges and companies are responsible for the accuracy of job postings and eligibility criteria they publish on the Platform.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and software associated with PlaceHire are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the content you upload (such as resumes and portfolios), but grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the Platform.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our reasonable judgment, is harmful to other users or the Platform.
7. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any student will receive a job offer or that any job posting is accurate, current, or available.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlaceHire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
